Melion - Where We Are

We didn't lose it all at once
It slipped between the ordinary
Between unopened messages
And mornings that felt temporary
You still reached for my hand sometimes
Without looking if I was there
Love doesn't always leave with noise
Sometimes it disappears into the air
Tell me when we crossed the line
From always into sometimes
When did silence learn our names?
When did comfort start to change?
If there's still a light somewhere
Leave it on a little longer
I don't want another ending
I just wanna know where we are
The house still holds your footsteps
Like nothing ever happened
Your sweater on the chair
Feels more honest than our words
We became careful with each other
Like strangers sharing weather
Funny how two bleeding hearts
Can slowly miss each other
Tell me when we crossed the line
From always into sometimes
When did silence learn our names?
When did comfort start to change?
If there's still a light somewhere
Leave it on a little longer
I don't want another ending
I just wanna know where we are
